Painless TBI Harness
This harness is designed for 1985-1989 5.0L & 5.7L V8 tuned port injected (TPI) engines using the Mass Air Flow system (MAF). These engines were factory equipped in Chevrolet Camaro and Corvettes and were mated to either a 200-4R or 700R4 transmission. Harnesses do not include all of the original connections for the original emissions, but are available separately.
This harness also requires the following mating parts: ECM #1227165 or #88999194. 1985-1988 engines will require the use of prom #16082183, #16068654, or #1228109. 1989 engines will require prom #16133467 or #16150500.
Note: This harness is stand alone and is not intended to replace the OEM engine wiring. Stand alone harnesses are intended to run the designated engine & transmission only, generally when swapped into another vehicle.
