Howards Pro-I Beam Connecting Rods- Manufactured by Carillo
Carillo uses proprietary chrome, nickel, moly, vanadium alloy which meets all VAR (vaccum arc re-melt ASTM) standards, and Ampco 45 bronze bushings. Manufactured from an oversized forging process. They are specially heat-treated and validated to confirm desired properties. Fully CNC machines at Carillo are equipped with probing to accurately validate dimensional integrity. Each part is magnafluxed at least twice and Rockwell tested to validate the heat treating procedure. Fully stress relieved and shot peened to ensure no stress risers remain. Features 7/16" ARP 2000 bolts (220,000 psi). Made in the USA.
