Howards Cams Everwear Distributor Gears
These gears are manufactured from a special iron alloy with the Everwear™ process.  The Everwear™ process increases surface hardness, lowers coefficient of friction, enhances surface lubricity, improves running wear performance, increases sliding wear resistance, and enhances corrosion resistance.  Designed for use with all cast flat tappet, most hydraulic roller and mechanical roller camshafts with cast gears.
Note: Not for use on camshafts with billet or hardened steel gear.
