Edelbrock #8895 Water Pump GM gen iii ls1 & gen iv ls engines insert style ideal to prevent overheating in street rods and street machines, as well as in tow rigs and motorhomes. Using state-of-the-art racing technology, Edelbrock has designed these "super cooling" WaterPumps to provide maximum flow, maximum pressure and equal distribution to both sides of the block within 1%. Available for most popular applications, these high performance pumps flow in only one direction for optimum efficiency. Note: This is not a direct replacement for street vehicles. It's for LS engines using a standard rotation front-end accessory drive belt routing (The opposite direction a stock pump turns with a serpentine belt setup). The hub height is 6.00" from block surface to hub. This pump is primarily designed for use in racing applications with factory equipped intake manifold, must be used with carbureted style manifolds.
