Premium grade annealed 21-4N. Deep hard chrome plated stems. Hardened to 55 r.c. to withstand the toughest roller-tip punishment. Every valve made is hardness checked. Chrome plated, ground and polished to exact tolerances. Lowest possible weight without sacrificing strength. Ultimate tensile strength, 75,400 p.s.i. at 1,382°F. Yield strength 46,500 p.s.i at 1,382°F. Valves have a slight undercut (.020"-.040"). Computer designed for severe applications.
