540ci Street/Strip & Marine Long Block
These 540 long blocks feature a Dart Big "M" Sportsman block. The block is CNC machined, torque plate honed and 100% pressure tested. The completely balanced rotating assembly includes forged pistons (9.5:1), 4340 H-beam rods with ARP capscrews, 4340 forged steel large radius crankshaft, plasma moly piston rings and Clevite H series rod and main bearings. A double roller timing chain set turns a Howards Cams roller camshaft. Top end features Patriot aluminum cylinder heads with stainless 2.250/1.88" valves. They finish the valvetrain with Scorpion roller rocker arms, HP valve springs and Manley pushrods. Oiling system includes a high volume Melling oil pump and HP oil pan. HD harmonic balancer and aluminum valve covers finish out the package.
