It has the performance of a high lift roller cam, with the easy maintenance and durability of a hydraulic. These Rattler Cams are for street enthusiasts who want the classis exhaust sound, but also want true performance to go with it. It’s also great for street/strip and bracket racing. They give you the performance and throttle response you expect from a performance cam. These sets offer sizable torque, horsepower, and rpm increases at an affordable price. If you want both sound and performance, you need a Howards Cams Rattler and a set of premium hydraulic roller lifters.
Note: to get the best exhaust note, you should use a good dual exhaust system without a cross-over. A cross over will add minor performance, but mellow the exhaust tone.
