Dart Big "M" Chev BB Cast Iron Block w/Billet Caps
Engineered to be the strongest, most reliable and easiest to build big block on the market. Features extra thick walls (.300" with 4.625" bore), scalloped water jackets for improved cooling, ductile iron splayed 4-bolt main caps, priority main oiling, lifter valley head stud bosses help prevent blown head gaskets and dual oil pan bolt patterns. External block machining reduces weight without sacrificing strength. Oil filter pad is drilled and tapped for external oil pump. Bell housing flange and rear main are reinforced with ribs to resist cracks. Billet main caps in all 5 positions. Also includes freeze plugs, coated cam bearings, and dowel kit. |
