ARP Head Stud Kit
ARP uses a premium grade 8740 alloy that is rated far superior to "aircraft" quality. Then, each stud is precisely heat-treated to 190,000 psi. After heat-treat they are centerless ground and then thread rolled. This gives them 1000% (ten times) better fatigue strength than studs that are thread rolled prior to heat-treat (common industry practice). Each kit includes necessary studs, parallel ground washers, and your choice of hex or 12-point nuts. |
